The New Issue of Mystery, Crime, and Mayhem is Out!

The New Issue of Mystery, Crime, and Mayhem is Out!

The latest issue of Mystery, Crime, and Mayhem has been released!  It’s available in both hard copy and Kindle editions.  The theme of this issue is “Betrayal.”  The stories in this issue all revolve around being betrayed in various ways, though the stories are very different.

I have another true crime essay in this one: “Erle Stanley Gardner and “The Court of Last Resort”” which talks about how the legendary mystery writer and his friends launched a crusade to clear the names of wrongly convicted people and reform the criminal justice system.

Also, I have another Funderburke and Kaiming novella, “The Leather Jacket of Doom,” narrated from Nerissa’s perspective.  When the ex-boyfriend of one of Nerissa’s students dies suddenly, the detecting duo start digging around, and soon wonder if the teenager was killed with a poisoned article of clothing.

And my name is on the cover!

One more bit of news: She Ruined Our Lives is now available in paperback!
