Saving the Streets of Old Milwaukee and the Milwaukee Public Museum

Saving the Streets of Old Milwaukee and the Milwaukee Public Museum

Only my Milwaukee and Wisconsin readers may be following this story, but the announced move of the Milwaukee Public Museum does not mean that all of the exhibits will make the move as well.  On the contrary, many beloved exhibits in the famous “Milwaukee Style” may be destroyed and the survivors stuck into storage.  Please watch this video, “Who Killed the Streets of Old Milwaukee” (which I did not take part in creating) to get an understanding of the situation that hasn’t been covered much in the news.

Also please check out the Facebook groups Streets of Old Milwaukee Club and Preserve MKE. Thanks!
