More Good News From Killer Nashville!

Last week the Silver Falchion Awards, given by Killer Nashville, announced that She Ruined Our Lives was nominated for the Silver Falchion for Best Literary Novel!   Today, there was an additional announcement for the Judges’ Top Picks, which include not only the top five nominees (or fewer) in each category, but also a few other books that though were not nominated for the big award, are considered worthy of attention by the judges.

Killer Nashville explains:

Each year, the judges have the tough task of narrowing down hundreds of excellent entries to just a handful of Finalists. It’s never easy. But sometimes, a book stays with the judges; it lingers in their minds, stirs something in them, and leaves them wanting more. Yours was one of those.

The Judges’ Top Picks list is our way of shining a spotlight on outstanding work that deserves to be read, shared, and celebrated. This recognition is a reflection of the impact your book had on our judges. Last year, the designation of Judges’ Top Picks increased sales and brought a lot of success for our winners.

And in the Best Nonfiction category for the Judges’ Top Picksboth Some of My Best Friends are Murderers and The Autistic Sleuth made the list!Congratulations to all of the other honored authors!
